A million thanks for your time, patience and attention last week.  What a wonderful day! Everyone appreciated the 
itinerary, your wonderful relaxed style, the informed descriptions and the anecdotes (even if some were a tiny 
bitlong-winded).  It was the best tour ever - and was certainly the high point of the vacation.  "Next time" - if there 
are 6 of us - we rent a van and ensure that we all arrive on time and travel together so that we can all benefit from 
your many gems of wisdom and stories during the drives between towns and villages.  
 
Again, thanks for the wonderful tour - I hope to hear from you soon and to see you next summer.

We were set to see Italy on a Mediterranean voyage and had engaged Peter for a day in Rome at the end of our cruise.  
Well, the cruise was cancelled and we were devastated.  I emailed Peter of our dilemma, and he said it was probably 
a blessing, that we could see much more of Italy on land.  Through his website and emails, I was able to book hotels 
and plan an itinerary for our 10 days in Italy.  Our trip turned out to be absolutely wonderful. All of his recommendations 
were on the mark, and made for an experience that we could not have done on our own.  We engaged Peter for a day in 
Tuscany and half day in Rome.  Our time with him was priceless.  His knowledge of the land, history, and arts is simply 
indescribable.  He took us to more places (including excellent places to eat) in a day and a half than we could have seen 
in a week and we learned so much in the process.  He even helped us with our luggage and checking in to our hotels!  
We know that our Italian experience was far better than if we had been on a cruise. I am convinced that Peter was the 
"blessing" in our situation.  If you want to truly experience Italy, you need to see it with Peter.
